Alexa has been doing special Olympics for about 12 years and she just loves it. Her favorite is powerlifting and bowling. She has made many great friends. The best was summer games when they got to stay overnight! Alexa loves hearing her family in the stands cheering her and her friends on. Her grandparents are two of her biggest supporters and she loves to see the smiles on their faces at competitions! Alexa also works at the YMCA part time as a greeter at the front desk, and she volunteers for a nonprofit in her town that helps raise money for families in need. She is looking forward to competing in powerlifting in Orlando at the USA games and representing the great state of New Jersey!
