Ben has been participating with Special Olympics New Jersey for 7 years in swimming, bowling, and volleyball. In his spare time, Ben enjoys practicing his drums, playing games on his Xbox, and hip hop dancing. His parents and his older sister are his biggest fans. Ben was honored to receive the Special Olympics New Jersey Area 13 Athlete of the Year in 2019. He is a recent graduate of Burlington County Special Services School District and currently attends Camden County College in their Garden State Pathways Program for Special Needs Adults. Special Olympics has given Ben the confidence to interact with his peers and gain new friends. He is very excited to swim for Team New Jersey in Orlando, Florida and is looking forward to meeting new people from across the USA!
