Colleen has participated as a Special Olympics New Jersey athlete since 1999 in the sports of bowling, golf, bocce, and athletics. She has been a certified Special Olympics coach in bowling since 2013 and a bocce official since 2017. Colleen has been involved in Athlete Leadership since 2012 as a member of the Athlete Leadership Council (ALC) and is currently the senior chairperson. She is also a member of a local Athlete Input Council (AIC). In her spare time, Colleen loves to perform in theater, acting, singing, making arts and crafts, and listening to music. Reading and writing are two of her favorite ways to relax. She is also a trained DJ and loves making people happy playing the songs they enjoy. Colleen loves volunteering with Special Olympics New Jersey and the Arc of Monmouth. She is grateful for her family and friends!
