Courtney Dreyfus - Coach

Courtney has been participating in Special Olympics New Jersey for over 15 years. Courtney began in Track and Field, but then expanded to competing in Snowshoeing, Swimming, and Triathlon. She previously went to the 2014 USA Games and 2015 World Games for Triathlon. In recent years, Courtney has become a coach for her swim team, the Somerset Hills Sea Wasps. She helps to train and encourage her teammates while assisting the other coaches. Now for the 2022 USA Games, Courtney is honored to be participating as an athlete-coach for the Team New Jersey swim team! Courtney is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Operational Oceanography at Rutgers University. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys anything related to the ocean. When she is not at the beach, she loves being active, listening to music, and writing. Courtney is excited for the 2022 USA Games and to help her fellow athletes strive for gold while being 'brave in the attempt'!
