48

Hometown:

Sparta, NJ

Sport:

Swimming

Jennifer is a Special Education teacher at Sparta High School. She has been involved in athletics her entire life. When the opportunity was presented, Jennifer jumped right into coaching Special Olympics and has enjoyed every minute with her Sparta Special Olympics team. Jennifer has been coaching and volunteering with Special Olympics New Jersey for 5 years. She coaches track and field, bowling, and snowshoeing for Special Olympics New Jersey along with soccer, basketball, and track and field for Sparta Unified Sports. Her favorite part of coaching Special Olympics is finding new opportunities for athletes to compete, helping them see there is nothing they can't do if they are brave, and watching her athletes make new friends. Jennifer enjoys photography, working out, spending time with family and friends, and being the best version of herself each day. She is honored and beyond excited to have been be asked to coach the Team NJ swim team and cannot wait to meet everyone and begin their journey together to Orlando. She wanted to wish all of her NJ teammates good luck as each sport GOES FOR GOLD!
